Our vision & mission

Wellness should begin where people already gather.

One Community Health is a community-empowerment health initiative, open to people of every faith — and none. Since 2021 we've enabled free, volunteer-powered preventive screening clinics in underserved communities — meeting people in the trusted spaces of their everyday lives, from community centers and civic sites to churches, synagogues, mosques, temples, and gurdwaras.

The mission

Early detection, real next steps, lower cost

Chronic diseases follow the fault lines of inequality. We bring screening — blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, BMI, vision, dental, and behavioral health — directly into the places communities already trust. Our physicians don't prescribe or perform procedures; they provide vitals, guidance, and warm referrals.

Every screening connects to a next step — specialty care pathways for heart, vision, and mental and behavioral health into community-based health centers — so early detection becomes real treatment, and the ER becomes the last resort, not the first.

What guides us

  • Trust over setting. We meet people where they already are — convenience and trust drive better outcomes.
  • Prevention first. Catch conditions early, before they become catastrophic and costly.
  • Lowest-risk care. Vitals and guidance only. No prescriptions, no procedures.
  • Open to all. Every faith and none — multilingual, culturally competent care for everyone.
What we mean by “secular”

Secular means we serve everyone — every faith and none. We're not tied to a single community: we partner with any trusted space to help that community become health-aware.

An enabling service

We enable partners to run their own community wellness clinics — we bring the model, the volunteer clinical workforce, and the HIPAA-compliant EMR; you host the clinic in the space your community already trusts.

The model

Supply, engine, and demand

Three forces come together to make free, recurring preventive care both possible and sustainable.

Supply

The Clinical Workforce

Volunteer physicians, nurses, and medical and dental students donate their time — building the next generation of community-minded clinicians.

Engine

The Wellness Clinic

A HIPAA-compliant EMR powers recurring pop-up screening clinics — vitals, screenings, and warm referral. No prescriptions. No procedures.

Demand

Where People Already Gather

Trusted venues — community centers, malls, civic spaces, and places of worship of every faith — coordinated with city and community partners who host clinics for the people they already serve.

Our story

A track record built since 2021

What began as recurring pop-up clinics has grown into a network spanning California and Florida, with new sites launching across the country. Along the way we've logged thousands of patient encounters, trained hundreds of volunteers, and filed zero malpractice claims — proof that this model is both safe and effective.
